Brad K.K. has practiced criminal law since 2009 in Los Angeles County. He has helped litigate hundreds of criminal cases and has obtained many successful resolutions for his clients in both State and Federal courts. Since 2015, he has focused his practice on appellate work and has handled cases before the California Supreme Court, California Court of Appeal, the Ninth Circuit, the Appellate Division of the Los Angeles County Superior Court, and the Appellate Division of the Riverside County Superior Court.
He has worked on all types of criminal cases, including DUI, White Collar Crimes, Drug Crimes, Sex Crimes, Violent Crimes, Theft Crimes, Gang Crimes, Juvenile Crimes, Domestic Violence and Murder. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley in 2006. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Southern California Law School in 2009. He was admitted to the California State Bar, Central District of California, and the U.S. Court of Appeals – Ninth Circuit in 2009.
Recent case victories include: Attempted murder conviction reversed (March 16, 2022); Denial of resentencing petition reversed (January 19, 2022); Gang enhancements reversed (December 29, 2021); Denial of resentencing petition reversed (November 9, 2021); Attempted murder conviction reversed (December 10, 2020); Murder conviction reversed (August 31, 2020); Client who was tried and sentenced as an adult for various sex crimes had his convictions conditionally reversed and a hearing was ordered to determine if he should be tried in juvenile court (June 19, 2020); Two attempted murder convictions reversed (May 1, 2020); Three Strikes sentence struck, client released immediately (October 2, 2019)
He is a member of the board for the California Appellate Defense Counsel. In 2022, he was named a criminal defense rising star by Super Lawyers.
