Experience

I’m a litigator with over 12 years of legal experience.  I started my career in the United States Senate, working on criminal justice issues before Congress and the United States Supreme Court.  I spent many years working with the San Diego Public Defender’s office representing clients facing felony and misdemeanor charges including felony murder, robbery, kidnapping, molestation, drug possession/sale, assault, DUI, and license offenses.

For many years I worked as an attorney at private defense firms, honing my court room skills in high stakes cases. As the founder of my own private practice firm, I have been lead trial counsel in felony and misdemeanor cases throughout the state of California.  My practice also includes representing post-conviction clients in petitions for expungement and registry removal hearings.
